The sale includes rediscovered works, such as William Conor’s masterpiece ‘Shawlie with Children, Quay Street, Skerries, Co. Dublin’. Conor became known as ‘The People’s Painter’ and even though he mostly depicted Ulster Life in his native Belfast, his Dublin scenes are exceedingly rare.
