He was a keen collector, particularly drawn to antique clocks, silver boxes, and oriental art, and assembled a collection that reflects both curiosity and care. Philip also had a lifelong interest in the arts and maintained a fascination with Spanish culture and history, which is reflected in several pieces in the sale
