The sumptuous Taj Mahal in Agra is India' most famous building - a white marble mausoleum built in the 17th century by a grief-stricken Mughal emperor in honour of his third wife who died during childbirth. BOOKS BY THE BARROW
Today and tomorrow between 10am and 6pm, the Town of Books Festival, now in its 13th year, takes place in Graiguenamanagh, Co Kilkenny - in the Barrow Valley and about two hours from Dublin via the M9 motorway.
